Las Cruces is home to New Mexico State University and its sister school, Dona Ana Branch Community College. Both of these institutions are thriving and NMSU alone hosted 17,000 students last year! The departure and arrival of these college students greatly affects our community's population and economy; the town seems to boom come August.
